Jaya & Albert

The Wedding Experience

There are some couples who make you feel like you’ve known them for years from the very beginning. That was Jaya and Albert.

From the moment they booked their wedding with us over a year in advance, we knew this celebration would be something deeply intentional. Between planning calls, mood boards, engagement session inspiration, and the countless little details shared throughout the process, we had the privilege of witnessing their story unfold long before the wedding day arrived.

After photographing their engagement session at the Ballroom at Mint Room Studios, we already had a glimpse into the kind of connection they shared — playful, stylish, warm, and grounded in genuine care for one another. Their wedding day felt like a continuation of that same energy, elevated by the love of family, thoughtful gestures, and moments that quietly said everything.

A Thoughtfully Designed Wedding Day

Jaya and Albert approached their wedding with an incredible sense of intention. Every detail reflected who they are as individuals and as partners.

Jaya wore a custom-designed wedding dress that felt effortlessly timeless while still uniquely her. Elegant yet expressive, it mirrored the way she carries herself — radiant, joyful, and completely present in every moment. Albert complemented her perfectly with a refined and understated style that brought balance to the day. Together, they have a chemistry that feels natural and magnetic.

One of the most meaningful details from the day was Albert’s custom-designed wedding band, created specifically for Jaya. The design held personal significance and reflected the care and thoughtfulness that define their relationship.

Wedding Ceremony at Iglesia Ni Cristo

Their ceremony took place at Iglesia Ni Cristo in Midtown Toronto.

The ceremony itself felt elegant and reverent, filled with emotion from both the couple and the people surrounding them. Jaya’s bright spirit filled the room while Albert’s calm presence grounded every moment beside her.

You could feel how loved they are.

From exchanged glances during the ceremony to the reactions from family and friends in attendance, every part of the day carried a sense of sincerity and connection.

A Romantic Reception at La Petite Chapelle in Innerkip

Following the ceremony, everyone made their way to La Petite Chapelle in Innerkip for the wedding reception.

Nestled in the countryside, La Petite Chapelle offered the perfect atmosphere for the kind of celebration Jaya and Albert envisioned — romantic, intimate, stylish, and warm.

The venue’s soft architectural details and natural surroundings created an incredible backdrop for portraits and candid moments throughout the evening. As the sun began to settle, the entire property carried a softness that perfectly complemented the emotional tone of the day.

Jaya and Albert spent the evening surrounded by people who clearly adore them. There was laughter throughout every speech, emotional embraces during quiet moments, and the kind of dance floor energy that reminds you how joyful weddings can truly be.

One of our favourite things about documenting weddings is seeing how each couple’s personality shapes the atmosphere of the entire day.

For Jaya and Albert, that atmosphere felt welcoming from beginning to end.

Stylish, Joyful, and Completely Themselves

Some couples naturally create space for everyone around them to feel comfortable, included, and celebrated. Jaya and Albert are exactly those kinds of people.

Their style was effortlessly refined, but what stood out most was how present they were with each other and with every guest throughout the day. They embraced every moment fully — the emotional ones, the quiet ones, and the wildly joyful ones.

As photographers, those are the weddings we love documenting most.

Not because everything is perfectly curated, but because the emotions are real.

Toronto Wedding Photography That Feels Personal

One of the most rewarding parts of photographing weddings is building relationships with our couples long before the wedding day arrives.

By the time Jaya and Albert’s wedding came around, it genuinely felt like we were documenting friends.

The trust they gave us throughout the entire process allowed us to create imagery that felt natural, emotional, and true to who they are.

From their engagement session at Mint Room Studios to their wedding day in Toronto and Innerkip, every chapter of their story carried intention and warmth.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of it.
